The wainscoting that looks like it’s been there since the house was built. These are the details most people feel but can’t always name — and they’re the details we obsess over.

Whether you’re finishing a new build, upgrading a room, or fixing someone else’s work, we bring the same precision to every project. CNC-milled profiles for complex patterns, hand-fitted joints for a flawless result, and species and stain matching so new work blends seamlessly with what’s already in your home.

Finish Carpentry Services

Crown Molding & Ceiling Trim

Single-piece and built-up crown profiles, cove molding, dentil molding, coffered ceilings, beamed ceilings, ceiling medallions, and crown returns. Standard profiles or custom profiles CNC-milled to match existing trim or create something new.

Baseboard & Shoe Molding

Standard and tall baseboards, shoe molding, quarter round, and custom base profiles. Scribed to uneven floors for a gap-free fit. Inside and outside miters, cope joints, and returns done properly.

Door & Window Casing

Traditional mitered casing, craftsman-style butt joints with rosette blocks, back-banded casing, and picture-frame window trim. Extension jambs for deep-set windows. Consistent reveals throughout.

Wainscoting & Wall Paneling

Raised panel wainscoting, flat panel (recessed) wainscoting, beadboard, shiplap, board and batten, and full-height wall paneling. Chair rail and cap molding. Custom panel layouts to fit your room proportions.

Stair Trim & Details

Newel posts, balusters, handrails, stair skirts, risers, treads, and landing nosing. Open and closed stringer designs. Custom newel post caps. Species matching to existing stair components.

Mantels & Fireplace Surrounds

Floating mantels, traditional mantelpieces with pilasters and entablature, beam mantels, and live-edge mantels. Custom built from solid hardwoods or veneered panels to match your room.

Accent Walls & Feature Details

Geometric accent walls, slat walls, shiplap feature walls, picture frame molding, applied molding patterns, and decorative panels. Designed and CNC-cut for precise spacing and alignment.

Built-In Shelving & Window Seats

Floating shelves, alcove shelving, library walls, window seat benches with storage, reading nooks, and display niches. Trimmed and finished to match surrounding millwork.

Exterior Trim

Fascia, soffit, rake boards, corner boards, porch columns, and decorative brackets. PVC and composite options for weather resistance. Finished to match your home’s exterior.

OUR APPROACH

Why Our Trim Work Looks Different

Most finish carpentry problems come from rushing, improvising, or not understanding how wood moves. We take the time to acclimate materials, pre-finish where appropriate, and plan our joints for seasonal wood movement. Crown gets coped on inside corners, not mitered. Baseboards get scribed to the floor. Reveals are set with gauges, not eyeballed.

For custom profiles, we CNC-mill in our shop to your exact specifications — whether you’re matching an existing profile from a 1920s Craftsman or creating something brand new. Stain and species matching is done with test samples on-site before we commit, so there are no surprises at install.

We hand-select our trim lumber for straight grain and minimal defects. All cuts are made on precision miter saws and table saws. If caulk is doing the heavy lifting on a joint, something went wrong — and we don’t let that happen.
